United Financial Bancorp, Inc. Announces Pricing of Subordinated Notes Offering

GLASTONBURY, Conn., Sept. 18, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- United Financial Bancorp, Inc. ("United Financial" or the "Company") (Nasdaq:UBNK), the holding company for United Bank (the "Bank"), today announced that it had set the price for its public offering of $75 million of its 5.75% Subordinated Notes due October 1, 2024 (the "Notes"). The Notes have been offered to the public at par.

United Financial plans to use the proceeds for general corporate purposes.
