MCLEAN, Va., Sept. 24, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Gladstone Land Corporation (Nasdaq:LAND) (the "Company") today announced that it has priced its public offering of 1,150,000 shares of its common stock at a price to the public of $12.28 per share. The Company also granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to 172,500 additional shares of common stock to cover over-allotments, if any. Subject to customary conditions, the offering is expected to close on or about September 29, 2014. The net proceeds to the Company, after deducting the underwriting discount and estimated offering expenses, are expected to be approximately $13.3 million (exclusive of the underwriters' over-allotment option).
Janney Montgomery Scott LLC, Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. and JMP Securities LLC, Ladenburg are serving as the joint book running managers for the offering. Ladenburg Thalmann & Co. Inc., Maxim Group LLC, J.J.B. Hilliard, W.L. Lyons, LLC and Sidoti & Company, LLC are serving as co-managers.
