(Nasdaq:FBRC) (FBR), a leading investment bank serving the middle market, today announced the expansion of its Equities execution capability with three important new hires. Mark A. Corcoran and Joshua D. Ezrin have joined the firm as Managing Directors, with Mr. Ezrin also serving as Head of Event Driven Trading. In addition Robert P. Flaherty joins as a Senior Vice President. All three join in Sales Trading and will be based in FBR's New York office.

Mr. Ezrin comes to FBR with twenty-five years of experience having worked at JP Morgan and Bear Stearns & Co, where he was Head of Risk Arbitrage Sales. Most recently he held a similar position at Susquehanna International. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Vermont.
Mr. Corcoran joins FBR having spent the last three years at Macquarie Capital. His prior industry experience includes senior positions at Lazard Capital Markets, Bear Stearns & Co., and Lehman Brothers. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Government from Georgetown University.
Mr. Flaherty has worked in Sales Trading for seventeen years. His experience includes senior positions at Deutsche Bank, Cowen & Co., Pali Capital, Ticonderoga, and most recently, KCG where he was Director of Sales Trading. He earned a Bachelor's degree in History and English from Assumption College in Worcester, Massachusetts.
