CNBC Meets: President Jimmy Carter, part two
In part two, Carter talks about the Iran hostage crisis he faced during his time as president and how he could have been re-elected easily if he had been able to rescue the hostages.
Carter said if there was one thing he could change about his time in office it would be the failed mission to rescue the hostages from Iran, which he said could have been successful if he had one more helicopter.
The former president said he could have "wiped Iran off the map" with the weapons that he had, but feels the decision he made for peace was the the right one, even if it cost him the presidency.
