USHCC Responds to President Obama's Promise to Act on Immigration

WASHINGTON, Oct. 2, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The following is a statement from USHCC President & CEO Javier Palomarez:

"The USHCC supports President Obama's promise to enact immigration reform by the end of the year, an affirmation that demonstrates his political courage, as well as his commitment to our nation's founding principles and economic future. We are confident that the Obama administration will follow through with their pledge to repair our broken system and continue expanding immigrant opportunities for the benefit of all Americans.

In the midst of political disagreement and disenchantment, the USHCC will work with our partners in the private, government, and non-profit sectors to coalesce support for the sensible immigration reform that our country deserves."
