Lord & Taylor Celebrates U.S. Launch of William Rast With Exclusive Rooftop Performance by Jessie J

NEW YORK, Oct. 9, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Lord & Taylor and William Rast celebrated the exclusive US launch of William Rast's Fall 2014 collection on the rooftop of the Fifth Avenue Flagship store last night. The evening featured a live musical performance by Grammy nominated international recording artist Jessie J, which marked the first stop ahead of her promotional tour to launch her forthcoming album "Sweet Talker", scheduled to release on October 14th.

Coinciding with last night's event, William Rast men's and women's shops were unveiled in Lord & Taylor stores across the country, including their Fifth Avenue Flagship. William Rast's Fall 2014 collection is now exclusively available in the US at all Lord & Taylor stores and on lordandtaylor.com.

To continue the launch celebration, William Rast will be participating in Lord & Taylor's in-store Fall consumer event this evening at the flagship Fifth Avenue store from 5pm – 9pm. A lively shopping experience featuring DJs, cocktails and hors d'oeuvres will be available on the 4th floor in women's and the 9th floor in men's and the first 10 customers at each store to make a $500 purchase will win tickets to Justin Timberlake's December 14th concert at Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Satellite celebrations will also be held in Lord & Taylor stores in Boston, Chicago, Albany, and Westchester.

In November, the brand will debut its first men's tailored collection at Lord & Taylor, followed by additional categories including men's dress furnishings (dress shirts, ties and accessories), women's scarves, and men's bags, belts, and small leather goods, which will be available beginning Spring 2015.

The US launch of William Rast at Lord & Taylor stores follows a successful Fall 2013 rollout in Canada at The Bay and Spring 2014 debut in Europe across leading retailers.
