Bermuda Business Development Agency Statement: Business as Usual After Tropical Storm Fay

HAMILTON, Bermuda, Oct. 13, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Bermuda's capital, the City of Hamilton, and the many global financial companies that operate from within Bermuda are open for business. Further indication of Bermuda's resilient infrastructure.

Following a direct hit from Tropical Storm Fay on early Sunday morning, Bermuda's business sector remains unaffected enabling businesses to operate as normal this morning.

The L.F. Wade International Airport resumed operation as of Sunday evening with Government offices, banks and public transportation also operating as usual from Monday morning. Key communications infrastructure, including cellular and broadband networks, are also operational.
