Grupo Salinas, Azteca America and Fundacion Azteca America to Launch Digital Campaign Promoting Voting in 2014 Elections

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 16, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Grupo Salinas, Azteca America and Fundación Azteca America are proud to launch "Voting is not an option, it's your obligation" digital campaign. Its goal is to inform the community about the November 2014 elections in the United States, as well as the requirements needed to register to be able to participate.

The campaign includes a digital brochure, and an online application on, where people can search information by state about the candidates, the deadlines to register to vote, and other useful data.

"Voting is a fundamental right, and it is our commitment to make sure our community has all the tools to make an informed vote", said Luis J. Echarte, President of Fundación Azteca America. "Our priority at Grupo Salinas is to promote the well-being and progress of the society where we operate."

Along with the digital campaign, Azteca America will broadcast live "Solución Azteca" on Thursday, October 23rd for 12 hours, featuring experts that will be answering questions ranging from voter registration to polling locations.
