The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said on Monday that certain car owners should "act immediately" to replace defective Takata airbags, affecting 4.7 million vehicles.
The agency said in a statementthat certain models including Toyota, Honda, Mazda, BMW,Nissan, and General Motors were involved, adding that owners instates such as Florida, Puerto Rico and Hawaii were among a list of priority.
