Christie launches passionate Twitter defense of quarantine


New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie took to Twitter on Monday to mount an impassioned defense of last week's decision to quarantine a healthcare worker who had contact with Ebola patients.

The woman at the center of that political firestorm will be allowed to leave quarantine and travel to Maine, officials said Monday. Christie had initially said she would be kept in isolation in the state a full 21 days.
