Beyoncé and Topshop boss Philip Green have announced a 50/50 joint venture to produce a "global athletic street-wear brand", in the latest of the fashion chain's line of celebrity tie-ups.
The company, called Parkwood TopShop Athletic, will launch in Fall 2015 and feature clothing, footwear and accessories for dance, fitness and sports. The products will be sold through Topshop stores and its website.
"We have been looking at this category as fashion inspired fitness develops, and know that this is right in our customers' heartland," Philip Green, CEO of Arcadia Group, owners of the Topshop chain, said in a press release.
Topshop is known for its collaborations with big names, including a clothing range with supermodel Kate Moss. The British brand's London Fashion Week show is also one of the most highly anticipated during the event.
Earlier this year Topshop announced it was opening a store on New York's Fifth Avenue as it continues its expansion in the U.S.
"I could not think of a better partner as I continue to grow the Parkwood business. I have always loved TopShop for their fashion credentials and forward thinking," Beyoncé said in a statement announcing the range.
