Alibaba Pictures, the media arm of the the Chinese e-commerce giant, is reportedly in talks with Sony Pictures to co-finance movies.
The proposed films would aim at global audiences with both English and Chinese versions, Variety reported, citing sources familiar with the discussions.

Alibaba founder Jack Ma is in Hollywood this week meeting with several studios, the report said, adding that the company has previously discussed investing in Lionsgate.
