NYMEX US oil and natural gas settlement prices delayed: CME

The settlement prices for NYMEX oil and gas futures were delayed on Thursday, the CME said. It was not aware of any specific cause for the delay but was investigating, a spokesman said.

Oil futures settled about 30 minutes later than usual at $81.12 per barrel, down 1.3 percent on the day. The settlement typically happens around 2:30 p.m. ET.

Separately, the NYSE said it was experienced a brief issue involving publishing and receiving trades and quotes on Thursday. The problem was resolved about 10 minutes after the announcement, according to the NYSE's website.
