After-hours buzz: FireEye, Potbelly, Zulily & more

Check out which companies are making headlines after the bell Tuesday:

Activision Blizzard - The game publisher tallied third-quarter earnings per share of 23 cents on $1.17 billion in revenue, compared to expected EPS of 13 cents on sales of $1.01 billion. Its shares climbed in after-hours trading.

FireEye - The cybersecurity supplier reported a third-quarter earnings per share loss of 51 cents on $114 million in revenue, compared to an expected EPS loss of 55 cents on $116 million in sales. It also lowered its guidance. Its shares fell hard in heavy volume in after-hours trading.

Potbelly - The sandwich-shop operator reported third-quarter adjusted earnings per share of 9 cents on $85 million in revenue, compared to estimates of an EPS of 7 cents on $84 million in sales. Shares gained in after-hours trading.

TripAdvisor - The travel site dropped in after-hours trading after reporting disappointing third-quarter earnings.

Twenty-First Century Fox - The film studio posted fiscal first-quarter earnings per share of 39 cents, excluding items, on $7.89 billion in revenue, versus an estimated EPS of 36 cents on $6.25 billion in sales. Its shares rose in after-hours trading.

Zulily - The online retailer dropped in after-hours trading after reporting third-quarter results.
