It's hard to fill Steve Jobs's shoes — even the film version. Actor Christian Bale has withdrawn from the Sony Pictures project after concluding he was not right for the part, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Michael Fassbender, the actor who received an Oscar nomination for his supporting role in "12 Years a Slave," is in early talks to play Apple's charismatic yet demanding co-founder, according to a person familiar with the matter, who confirmed a Variety report.
The movie is based on Walter Isaacson's best-selling biography, "Steve Jobs."
