3rd Annual Cell Culture & Bioprocessing Congress
- David R. Knop, Senior Director, Process Development will present at the 3rd Annual Cell Culture & Bioprocessing Congress in London on November 18th, 2014. Dr. Knop's presentation, titled, "Production of AAV-based Phase 2 Human Clinical Trial Material by HAVE," will be part of the congress' Biological Production stream and will include an overview of AGTC's pipeline and manufacturing processes, as well as a discussion of the company's current phase 2a and 2b trials for its lead product candidates.
AGTC is a clinical-stage biotechnology company that uses its proprietary gene therapy platform to develop products designed to transform the lives of patients with severe diseases in ophthalmology. AGTC's lead product candidates focus on X-linked retinoschisis, achromatopsia and X-linked retinitis pigmentosa, which are inherited orphan diseases of the eye, caused by mutations in single genes, that significantly affect visual function and currently lack effective medical treatments.
