Since the company deployed new e-commerce technologies and online promotions using HeBS Digital, redlion.com has continued to drive better performance year-on-year. For the third quarter of 2014, redlion.com increased website bookings 19.5 percent.

The website enhancements include a clean and simple navigation with adaptive and responsive design to better accommodate mobile and tablet devices. Adding to the user experience, each hotel page incorporates even more property specific content such as local event calendars, mapped points of interest and hotel photo galleries to further entice guests to explore the local region during their stay. A partnership with Groupon allows visitors to the site have access to listed specials at restaurants, shops and attractions in the area.
Adding to convenience for users, the redlion.com reservation system offers a save for later feature for select locations beginning this month. This feature allows guests to plan ahead and choose a date to be reminded to complete their booking, ensuring Red Lion will be an active participant in their continued planning process. Also improving functionality is a new Content Management System (CMS), integrated with the booking engine and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to enhance member recognition. The updated features focus on merchandising offers based on the preferences of the members of the RLHC guest recognition program, Hello Rewards.
