This West Village apartment cost just $10 per month

One West Village renter has a steal of a deal in a decades-long lease that his landlord is suing in court to challenge, reports the NY Post.

Jud Parker pays just 10 bucks per month to rent a 1,400-square-foot duplex with two bedrooms and a back yard on pricey Minetta Street. He inked the 50-year lease with his former landlord with a 10-year renewal option.

His landlord had since died, and his new one, Pari Dulac, is alleging that Parker manipulated the former landlord who suffered from dementia into agreeing to the lease or forged his signature.

"When I saw the lease, I couldn't believe it," said Dulac to the Post. "I thought it was a joke."

But Parker claims the bargain lease was a gift since he was like a surrogate son to his former landlord.
