BOSTON, Nov. 13, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- THL Credit, Inc. (Nasdaq:TCRD) ("THL Credit") today announced that it has priced a public offering of $45.0 million aggregate principal amount of Notes due 2021 (the "Notes"). The Notes will mature on November 15, 2021, and may be redeemed in whole or in part at any time or from time to time at THL Credit's option on or after November 15, 2017. The Notes will bear interest at a rate of 6.75% per year payable quarterly on March 30, June 30, September 30 and December 30 of each year, beginning December 30, 2014. THL Credit also granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional $6.75 million in aggregate principal amount of Notes to cover overallotments, if any. THL Credit expects to list the Notes on the New York Stock Exchange under the trading symbol "TCRX." Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, Inc. and Raymond James & Associates, Inc. are acting as joint book-running managers for this offering. BB&T Capital Markets, a division of BB&T Securities, LLC, is acting as a lead manager for this offering.
The closing of the transaction is subject to customary closing conditions and the Notes are expected to be delivered on or about November 18, 2014.
THL Credit expects to use the net proceeds of this offering to repay outstanding indebtedness under its revolving credit facility.
