Beth M. Foley Joins Michael Baker International as Executive Vice President and Chief Communications Officer

PITTSBURGH, Nov. 24, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- To support its expanding global reach and deepening local and regional client relationships, Michael Baker International today announced communications executive Beth M. Foley has joined the firm as Executive Vice President and Chief Communications Officer, effective November 17, 2014. The firm, a leading global provider of engineering and integrated consulting services, recently implemented a strategy of local leadership for national and international markets and expanding worldwide practices in targeted markets.



Foley, who has spent the better part of the past 20 years leading strategic communications initiatives at some of the nation's largest energy companies, reports to Chief Executive Officer Kurt Bergman and will oversee all corporate communications, marketing and advertising functions across Michael Baker International's 90 global offices.

Foley recently served as Senior Director, Corporate Communications for Pacific Gas and Electric Company, and previously held communications leadership roles with GSI Commerce (now an eBay company), Radian International, PJM Interconnection, and Progress Energy, now known as Duke Energy. She also serves intermittently as an adjunct professor at the University of New York–Prague, as part of La Salle University's Professional and Business Communication Master's degree program.

Ms. Foley is a standing member of the International Association of Business Communicators and Public Relations Society of America.
