KANSAS CITY, Kan., Dec. 15, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Epiq Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq:EPIQ), a leading global provider of integrated technology solutions for the legal profession, today announced the appointment of Chris Jutkiewicz as senior vice president and chief technology officer. Mr. Jutkiewicz is responsible for guiding global technology strategy and harnessing Epiq's diverse technology resources to deliver best-in-class services to Epiq clients around the world.
As chief technology officer, Mr. Jutkiewicz directs Epiq's software engineering, information technology and product development teams. The senior technology leadership team reporting to him includes George Tsounis, senior vice president of software engineering and quality assurance, and two recent additions to Epiq: Jig Patel, vice president of information technology and Ramesh Chaturvedi, vice president of product management.

Mr. Jutkiewicz has a substantial base of senior technology, operations and business strategy experience and accomplishments, including 10 years as the chief technology officer for the Corporate Legal Services division of Wolters Kluwer N.V., and prior to that, 14 years with Reuters, where his last role was vice president of transactions systems software development. Most recently, he led technology and business operations at CoreLogic Insurance Solutions following its acquisition of Decision Insight Information Group where he served as chief technology officer. Mr. Jutkiewicz received a bachelor's in computer science from Union College and an MBA from Adelphi University.
