It's not inconceivable that movie fans still love "The Princess Bride." The 1987 romantic comedy enjoys cult status for many.

Gameblend Studios is banking on that love with the release of its latest game app, "The Princess Bride—The Official Game," which published last week for Apple iOS. With a price tag of $3.99, it promises to let fans duel with Inigo Montoya, climb the Cliffs of Insanity, and battle the shrieking eels.

The film, directed by Rob Reiner, and starring young Robin Wright, Cary Elwes, and Mandy Pantinkin, is infinitely quotable within the fandom: "Hello! My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die."

According to the game's description, players will get to relive some of their favorite scenes by unlocking images and sound clips from the movie.

"Unless I am wrong, and I am never wrong" the game will appeal to at least hardcore fans.
