MARLTON, N.J., Feb. 2, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Hill International (NYSE:HIL), the global leader in managing construction risk, announced today the promotion and hiring of eight executives to the position of Senior Vice President.
Daniel J. Heilig, of Hill's Denver, Colorado office, has been promoted to Senior Vice President within the company's Project Management Group. Heilig has more than 40 years of program, project and construction management experience in the transportation, power, petroleum, petrochemical, mining and aerospace sectors. He holds a B.S. in civil engineering from Purdue University and a Master of Technology Management from the University of Denver.
Thomas Hofbauer, of Hill's Munich, Germany office, has been promoted to Senior Vice President within the company's Construction Claims Group. Hofbauer has nearly 20 years of experience in tunneling, rail and road infrastructure projects as well as process plants and also rolling stock engineering/manufacturing and information technology projects. His activities have included contract and claims management in a variety of applications ranging from the drafting of subcontracts though to final account and he is experienced in strategic procurement. Hofbauer holds a Dipl.-Ing. in civil engineering from the Munich University of Applied Sciences and he is a member of the Chamber of Engineers.
Emmanouil Kotsifis, of Hill's Dubai, United Arab Emirates office, has rejoined the company as Senior Vice President with the company's Project Management Group. Kotsifis has more than 20 years of experience as a qualified civil engineer with expertise in real estate development, project management, construction management, contract management and administration, scheduling, quality assurance, quality audits and quality control on projects in Europe and the Middle East. Prior to rejoining Hill, Kotsifis was Regional Director of Development for Al Maabar, an Abu Dhabi real estate development firm. He holds a Five-Year Diploma in civil engineering from the National University of Athens.
Luis Lugo Jr., of Hill's New York City office, has rejoined the company as Senior Vice President with the company's Construction Claims Group. Lugo has more than 30 years of leadership experience in the military and the private sector. Lugo's background includes projects in the transit, airport, housing and educational sectors. Prior to rejoining Hill, he served as President and Chief Operating Officer with PACO Group, a construction management firm. Lugo holds a B.S. in liberal studies from the State University of New York and an M.A. in organizational management from the University of Phoenix.
Joseph A. Naughton, AIA, LEED AP, of Hill's Boston, Massachusetts office, has been promoted to Senior Vice President and New England Regional Manager for the company's Project Management Group. Naughton has more than 25 years of experience in architecture and construction with expertise in project and construction management. Naughton earned his B.S. in architecture from the University of Notre Dame and his M.Arch. in urban design from Harvard University. He is a registered architect in Massachusetts and a LEED Accredited Professional.
William J. Screnci, CMA, of Hill's Marlton, New Jersey office, has been promoted to Senior Vice President and Treasurer with the company's Finance Department. Screnci has more than 30 years of experience as a senior financial officer and controller with responsibility for strategic planning, development and leadership of the corporate finance function, financial planning and analysis, tax, treasury, budgeting and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. He holds a B.S. in business administration and an M.B.A. from Drexel University and is a Certified Management Accountant.
Douglas V. Traver, RLA, of Hill's New York City office, has been promoted to Senior Vice President with the company's Project Management Group. Traver has more than 29 years of experience in project and construction management, site engineering and design encompassing a wide variety of projects including educational facilities, parks and recreation, institutional and government facilities. Traver holds a B.S. in landscape architecture from the State University of New York's College of Environmental Science and Forestry and is a Registered Landscape Architect in New York and Maryland.
Elizabeth J. Zipf, LEED AP, of Hill's Marlton, New Jersey office, has been promoted to Senior Vice President in charge of the company's Proposals and Graphics Group. She has more than 20 years of experience in marketing, communications, business development management, long-term business planning and as well as materials and graphics production. Zipf pursued coursework at Rowan University and she is a LEED Accredited Professional.
