SAN DIEGO, Feb. 3, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Comverge Inc., the leading provider of demand management solutions for electric utilities, today announced it has extended its partnership with Entergy Arkansas (EAI) through 2015. Under the terms of the agreement, Comverge will continue to manage the fully outsourced, pay-for-performance demand response program on behalf of Entergy Arkansas. Launched in 2012, the Entergy Arkansas program called Summer Advantage will be supported by an integrated suite of Comverge hardware and software solutions, including the Comverge IntelliSOURCE enterprise software platform and IntelliPEAK load control switches. Entergy Arkansas extended its contract with Comverge after meeting and exceeding its original enrollment goal of 15 megawatts (MW) by 10 MW.

"Over the last three years, we have helped Entergy Arkansas meet and exceed its demand management and energy efficiency goals by recruiting more than 25 MW of load into its program. It is great to have the opportunity to build on that success by extending our agreement with the Entergy Arkansas team."
