CTC Love Celebrates One Year on the Air

MOSCOW, Feb. 16, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- CTC Media (Nasdaq:CTCM), a leading Russian independent media company, today announced the one-year anniversary of the launch of its new channel - CTC Love. The channel, which targets young audiences, launched on February 14, 2014. CTC Love offers some of CTC's best programming, including "To Not be Born Beautiful," "Ranetka," "Father's Daughters," and "Margosha," among others.

Over the past year, CTC Love has demonstrated impressive audience growth, taking .78% of share among audiences aged 11-34 as well as over 1% of women aged 11-34.

In October 2014 CTC Love received the "Golden Ray" award for "most colorful start." The Golden Ray awards honor Russian-language thematic channels broadcasted through cable and satellite platforms both in Russia and abroad.
