(Nasdaq:CLRX) today announced the closing of its previously announced underwritten public offering of 3,840,000 shares of its common stock and warrants to purchase up to an aggregate of 3,840,000 shares of its common stock at an offering price of $1.25 per common share and $0.0001 per warrant. In addition, the underwriter exercised the over-allotment option to purchase an additional 576,000 shares and warrants to purchase 576,000 shares of common stock. The warrants have a per share exercise price of $1.56, are exercisable immediately and will expire five years from the date of issuance. Gross proceeds to CollabRx from this offering are approximately $5,520,000 before deducting underwriting discounts and commissions and other estimated offering expenses payable by CollabRx.
Aegis Capital Corp. acted as the sole book-running manager for the offering.
