Overturned tanker spills biodiesel fuel on I-95

An oil tanker overturned on Interstate 95 in Maryland on Tuesday, spilling biodiesel fuel and causing a five-mile traffic pileup, according to NBC Washington.

The accident occurred when the truck crashed into the interior connector.

The southbound lanes were closed while crews worked to clean up the scene. Vehicles were backed up five miles before the closure, according to the report. Officials said the northbound lanes may shut down as well.
