Monear will drive the company's next generation of product strategy and expand the product management function.

Prior to joining Edgewater Networks, Monear was Head of Product Management at MontaVista, a leading provider of cloud and embedded software for the mobile carrier market. Prior to MontaVista, Monear served as Head of Product Management for Brocade Software's Networking Business Unit, managing all virtualization, SDN and NFV products. He has also held various leadership positions at Cisco Systems, Juniper Networks, Siemens, Alcatel-Lucent and AT &T. He holds a B.Sc. from the University of Bradford in the UK, and is an active member of the Networking and Telecom industry, participating in many standards committees. Monear is also recognized in the industry, and has received innovation awards for his contributions to telecom and networking.
