Want your own personalized perfume? You'll need $30,000

It seems like every celebrity has their own fragrance line these days, from Kim Kardashian's "Pure Honey" to Taylor Swift's "Incredible Things."

But you don't have to be famous to have your own scent—you just have to be super rich.

Kilian Hennessy, a perfumer who makes personalized fragrances, gave "Secret Lives of the Super Rich" a tour of his NYC By Kilian store where he works his magic. He won't name his clients, but said they include a Saudi princess and rich Europeans.

The day CNBC met him, he was whipping up a scent for Chris Collins, a Ralph Lauren model.

For Collins, Hennessy added a touch of rum and vanilla to the scent, since that "will bring a lot of sex to it."

"That's exactly what I want," Collins said. "Increase the sex."

It can take months to perfect the right scent. Once it's done, it's preserved in eight individual bottles and packaged on a bed of satin in a lacquered box with its own key.

"Perfume is going to act as an aphrodisiac," he said. "A weapon of seduction when you want it."

Of course, when you're super rich, your money alone is probably an even more powerful aphrodisiac.
