EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., March 30, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- MamaMancini's Holdings, Inc. ("MamaMancini's" or the "Company") (OTCQB:MMMB), a manufacturer and marketer of specialty pre-prepared, frozen and refrigerated "all natural" food products (as defined by the United States Department of Agriculture), today announced their expansion into restaurant food service through a partnership with Groucho's Deli Franchise ("Groucho's") with 27 locations in the Carolinas. Groucho's plans to introduce a MamaMancini's "Meatball Dipper" in all of Groucho's Deli's on April 1, 2015.

Along with co-branded point of purchase materials, both Groucho's and MamaMancini's plan to harness the power of Facebook, Twitter and Instagram with an aggressive social media campaign that will kick off on 04/01/2015 targeting both Groucho's and MamaMancini's customers with the hashtags #MeatballDipper and #NoAprilFools.
"The Groucho's Deli Brand is built on the tradition and quality upheld by the Miller family going on 75 years," said Cindy Sutton, Director of Brand & Marketing for Groucho's. "We pride ourselves on choosing partners that maintain our values. With the introduction of their new Kettle Program, MamaMancini's is a perfect fit for the launch of our "Meatball Dipper"."
"MamaMancini's is proud to be part of Groucho's very well thought out marketing program. We are pleased that Groucho's has chosen MamaMancini's as its dipping partner," said Carl Wolf, Chief Executive Officer of MamaMancini's.
About Groucho's® Deli
Harold 'Groucho' Miller came to Columbia in 1941 with a handful of original recipes for potato salad, coleslaw, and various salads and sandwich dressings – most of which were thought up during his childhood in a Philadelphia orphanage. He opened Miller's Deli, but because of his brash Groucho Marx-like sense of humor, and his incredible likeness to the famed comedian, the city of Columbia nicknamed him and his restaurant Groucho's®.
In the 1940s, 1950s, and 1960's Groucho's® Deli established its reputation by serving its high quality meats and cheeses, famous sandwich dressings (Formula 45 Sauce™ was perfected in 1945), and Original Potato Salad and Cole Slaw. Groucho's continued Philosophy of offering "Fast, Fresh, and Original" Trademark Subs and Large Salads, served with Groucho's Famous® Dressings, spawned demand into new markets.
With a growing total of 27 open locations, Groucho's Franchise Systems now has deli restaurants in South Carolina and North Carolina and is ranked on prestigious Entrepreneur magazine's 36th annual Franchise 500® list.
