In a contest between ape and machine, a flying drone didn't stand a chance against a chimp armed with a long stick.
The drone was taking video at Royal Burgers' Zoo in the Netherlands last Friday when it veered too close to one clever chimp, who also happened to be carrying a large stick.
After lying in wait for the machine, the chimp smacked the drone out of the sky, the zoo said in a blog post.

In the video, which quickly went viral, the chimp could be seen inspecting the downed drone.
