Etsy priced its initial public opening at $16 per share, at the top end of its previously expected range of $14-$16 per share.
The price values the company, an e-commerce platform for handmade goods and craft supplies, at about $1.78 billion.
The company's IPO raised about $266.66 million at that price.
It plans to list on Nasdaq under the ticker "ETSY."
