NEW ORLEANS, April 20, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Following the database partnership announcement in January, Visiting Nurse Associations of America (VNAA) and National Research Corporation will encourage VNAA members to sign up for free participation in the Nonprofit Industry Research Database at the VNAA 33rd Annual Meeting that launches today in New Orleans.
As part of this research project, VNAA has invited Christine Lang of National Research to present a breakout session alongside Jeannette May, database project consultant for the VNAA. This dedicated session covers the benefits of the VNAA Nonprofit Industry Research Database for its members and takes place Wednesday, April 22, at 9:45 a.m.
"This research project is the first of its kind for the home health industry" said Tracey Moorhead, president and CEO of VNAA. "We are proud to offer our members this exclusive benefit with the objective to move the home health care profession forward on behalf of patients—and drive population health through home-based care."
VNAA members can visit OCS HomeCare by National Research at booth #215 in the exhibit hall to learn more and to sign up to participate in the research database. The breakout session on Wednesday also will offer information on how to sign up for this free VNAA member benefit.
"Participation in this research database will provide impactful data and analytics," said Christine Lang, senior director of National Research. "This project will also help inform issues related to advocacy, quality, and education with evidence-based data."
"We hope to demonstrate the unique value that VNAA members bring to their communities with real-time data that shows how home-based care can reduce costs and readmission rates," said Moorhead.
