Los Gatos, CA, April 21, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Stringify, an Internet of Everything (IoE) startup aiming to shape the transformation of the space, today announced it has received $6.3 million in initial seed funding led by ARTIS Ventures along with OurCrowd and other private investors. The funds will be used to build out the company's engineering team and ramp product development.

The founders of Stringify are seasoned management and product executives from companies spanning multiple industries, including Cisco, JPMorgan Chase, Palm and SanDisk. The company is founded by CEO Mike Yurochko, CTO Dave Evans, and CCO Yaron Sheba. Between them, the team has more than 60 patents and scores of product awards in multiple industries. Evans, who left his 24-year tenure at Cisco--most recently as Chief Futurist--regularly blogs on the topics of IoT and IoE on LinkedIn.
