While volatility remains near the lowest level this year, options traders are betting a select group of stocks will see sharp moves this earnings season.

So buckle up if you hold these companies.

Based on options activity, MKM Partners identified some of the stocks that could be ripe to soar or dive on earnings.

The research firm compiled a list of companies with high implied volatility, a metric used in the options market to estimate the potential move of a security.

From that list CNBC Pro then found one in particular with positive earnings revisions heading into its report, hinting that the big move may be to the upside.
