CNBC Meets' Tania Bryer speaks to celebrated soprano opera singer Jessye Norman, who speaks about her childhood growing up in Augusta, Georgia and her first experience of racial segregation.

Norman speaks of her early involvement in the Civil Rights Movement and how she first discovered her love of singing.

The five-time Grammy winner also discusses her education, her involvement with a number of different charitable initiatives and the idea behind the Jessye Norman School of the Arts.
