FAIRFAX, Va., April 28, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command (U.S. Army INSCOM) has awarded ManTech International Corporation (Nasdaq:MANT) one of its 11 indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contracts to provide global intelligence support services (GISS). This multiple award IDIQ contract has a base year, with 4 option years and a potential value of $5 billion. ManTech was also on a team that won one of the restricted small business IDIQs, which has a potential value of $2.2 billion.
INSCOM executes mission command of operational intelligence forces; conducts worldwide multi-discipline and all-source intelligence operations; and delivers advanced skills training, linguist support, specialized quick reaction capabilities, and intelligence-related logistics, contracting, and communications in support of Army, Joint, and Coalition commands and the National Intelligence Community.
This important award gives ManTech the opportunity to provide advanced cyber operations, full-spectrum information operations and intelligence, as well as field logistics, forensics, and other mission-support and sustainment services that further U.S. national security objectives globally.
"ManTech is making great advances in cyber security, intelligence, and global threat response," said L. William Varner, president of ManTech's Mission Cyber & Intelligence Solutions Group. "We look forward to supporting U.S. Army INSCOM's mission on a global scale."
