Kazakhstan's Kcell JSC Selects Amdocs for Business Support Systems Transformation

ST. LOUIS, April 29, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Amdocs (Nasdaq:DOX), the leading provider of customer experience solutions, today announced that Kcell JSC, a TeliaSonera affiliate and Kazakhstan's largest mobile operator, has selected Amdocs for a business support systems (BSS) transformation project to enhance and differentiate its customer experience while simplifying the complexity of its business environment.

Under a five-year agreement that includes implementation, migration, testing and ongoing support, Amdocs will replace third-party, legacy systems to provide Kcell with a single, fully-convergent BSS suite. As a result Kcell will have lower operational costs and achieve faster time to market for innovative product and service bundles. The Amdocs solution will deliver end-to-end customer visibility, allowing Kcell to provide a consistent and personalized customer experience across its pre- and post-paid lines of business.

"We're entering The New World of Customer Experience, a demanding competitive environment that requires service providers to deliver innovative, personalized services while streamlining their complex environments to speed time to market and cut costs," said Chris Williams, head of global marketing at Amdocs. "This BSS transformation project will accelerate business value for Kcell and position them to win in this new era."
