What You May Do
If you purchased shares of Aerie and would like to discuss your legal rights and how this case might affect you and your right to recover for your economic loss, you may, without obligation or cost to you, call toll-free at 1-877-515-1850 or email KSF Managing Partner Lewis Kahn (email@example.com). If you wish to serve as a lead plaintiff in this class action, you must petition the Court by June 29, 2015.
About the Lawsuit
Aerie and certain of its executives are charged with failing to disclose material information during the Class Period, violating federal securities laws.
On April 23, 2015, Aerie issued a press release announcing the results of its first Phase 3 registration trial for the Company’s lead product candidate RhopressaTM, a once-per-day eye drop that is designed to lower intraocular pressure (“IOP”) in patients with glaucoma or ocular hypertension. According to the release, “[t]he trial did not meet its primary efficacy endpoint of demonstrating non-inferiority of IOP lowering for once-daily RhopressaTM compared to twice-daily timolol, the most widely used comparator in registration trials for glaucoma.”
On this news, the price of Aerie's shares plummeted by almost 64%.
