HARTFORD, Conn, May 4, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Connecticut Children's Medical Center will hold a webinar showcasing it's new Comprehensive Lyme Disease Program (860-545-TICK), the first and only one in the state of Connecticut, on Wednesday, May 20 from 12:15-1:15PM. The webinar will be presented by Lawrence Zemel, MD, Division Chief of Pediatric Rheumatology.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, as many as 300,000 Americans may contract Lyme Disease every year and less than 10% of Lyme Disease cases - fewer than 30,000 - are reported.
