CareerCast has identified the top jobs for those without a college degree, giving the salary and hiring outlook until 2022 for the different jobs. Those positions provide alternatives for people who can't obtain a four-year degree due to personal or financial reasons. The publisher of CareerCast, Tony Lee, said many choose not to go to school because they have to support a family or they can't afford it, or because they don't want to take out loans.

The data are the result of a study conducted using criteria that includes income and stress levels among others. The study uses data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
