Tweets available through Google mobile search

Let’s use NASA as an example—just ask the Google app about “NASA Twitter,” and in the search results, you’ll see Tweets from @NASA (L),. Or if you heard today was Malcolm X’s birthday, you can ask the Google app and see what various people and organizations in the Twitter community are saying about it. (R).

A Google search on a mobile device will now bring up related tweets, according to the company's official blog. (Tweet This)

The new feature, which runs through the Google app for Android and iOS, allows viewers to look up tweets about trending topics or see the posts of a specific Twitter account.


The company said in a blog post that it will be an efficient way for users to stay tuned and the way for organizations to reach larger audiences.

Though now only in English, the feature will roll out in different languages—and for desktops—in the future, according to the announcement.
