ATLANTA, May 28, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Board of Directors of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta (FHLBank Atlanta) has approved a dividend at an annualized rate of 4.26 percent for the first quarter of 2015.
"Our focus is on providing consistent financial returns to our shareholders," said FHLBank Atlanta Chair of the Board of Directors, Gary Garczynski. "The first quarter dividend is continued evidence of the strength of the FHLBank Atlanta cooperative and our partnership with our shareholders."
The dividend rate is equal to average three-month LIBOR, plus 4.00 percent for the period of January 1, 2015, to March 31, 2015. The dividend payout is applicable to capital stock held during that period. The dividend will be credited to shareholders' daily investment accounts at the close of business on June 2, 2015.
