FOR A LIMITED TIME, SAVE UP TO $2,500 ON A CROSSBOW OXY-FUEL/PLASMA CNC CUTTING SYSTEM

FLORENCE, S.C., June 8, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- ESAB Cutting Systems announces limited-time promotional pricing on the Crossbow, a portable, economical, and flexible oxy-fuel/plasma CNC cutting system. Purchase a Crossbow by August 31, 2015, and receive up to $2,000 off standard pricing on the base machine in 4 ft. x 4 ft. or 5 ft. x 10 ft. table sizes. Upgrade by adding ESAB's PowerCut 1300 plasma package and collect a total savings of $2,500. The PowerCut makes plasma cutting with Crossbow easier and more economical, as it simplifies operation, reduces set-up time and enhances consumables life.

Excellent for First-Time Automation

Crossbow's automated functions, user-friendly interface and portable design provide a versatile yet value-minded cutting package for plasma, oxy-fuel or both – the perfect entry point into CNC cutting. Its small size makes it ideal for small fabrication shops, maintenance and repair shops, trade schools or for portable use within large facilities and construction sites. The system offers plasma cutting of mild steel or aluminum up to 20 mm (3/4 in.) and stainless steel up to 15 mm (5/8 in.). Using oxy-fuel, Crossbow cuts mild steel up to 100 mm (4 in.).

A simple, menu-driven interface makes operation easy to learn and use, and the Crossbow's fully-integrated CNC eliminates the need for a dedicated computer. A library of 24 common shapes minimizes programming and setup time. Dimensions are easily edited to create custom shapes without actual programming. For custom programs, the CNC uses basic M- and G-Code programming, and off-line programmed NC files can be transferred to the machine using a standard USB connection.

Crossbow is also easy to install and use. View video for all the product details. To take advantage of the Crossbow limited-time promotion or to learn more, visit ESAB, or contact your local ESAB sales representative.
