(Nasdaq:AFSI) (the "Company" or "AmTrust") today announced the pricing of an offering of $150.0 million of its 7.25% Subordinated Notes due 2055 (the "2055 Notes"). The Company has granted the underwriters a 30-day option, expiring on July 11, 2015, to purchase up to an additional $22.5 million of the 2055 Notes from the Company on the same terms and conditions. The Company expects the offering to close on June 18, 2015, subject to customary closing conditions. The 2055 Notes are expected to trade on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol "AFSS". The Company intends to use the net proceeds from the offering for general corporate purposes, which may include working capital, capital expenditures and/or strategic acquisitions.
