The Futures Company Names Experienced Research Strategist Hillary Newton Senior Vice President

CHAPEL HILL, N.C., June 30, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Futures Company, a leading strategic planning, insight and innovation consultancy, adds to its senior leadership team by announcing today the hiring of research strategist and thought leader Hillary Newton as Senior Vice President in the consulting group. As a senior member of the consulting team, Newton will play a key role in leading client projects and developing key insights about the future and about opportunities for our clients' businesses and brands.

In her most recent role as SVP of Research and Brand Strategy at The Family Room, she generated learning agendas and insights for a list of high-profile, global brands including Disney, LEGO, General Mills, Unilever and Nintendo. Her expertise encompasses CPG, B2B and B2C arenas, and includes brand positioning/portfolio work, decoding motivation and family decision-making, multicultural insights and shopper insights work. She is a passionate thought-leader and enjoys presenting at client immersions, new business pitches, and industry conferences.

Newton received her B.S. in Psychology from New York University and lives in New York City with her husband and five children.
