Greece latest: Euro zone leaders, ECB pile on pressure

Stay tuned for news and analysis on Greece, where banks remained closed after the European Central Bank (ECB) kept a tight rein on the emergency funding it was willing to supply the country's stricken financial system.

European officials are now awaiting fresh debt proposals from Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and new Finance Minister Euclid Tsakalotos, with the German and French leaders warning that Greece must act quickly if it wants to remain in the euro zone.
