Harry Shearer, Voice of Mr. Burns and Ned Flanders, Returning to 'The Simpsons'

It turns out that fans of "The Simpsons" don't have to worry about losing the voices of Mr. Burns, Ned Flanders and Principal Skinner.

Harry Shearer, who said in May that he wouldn't return for the show's 27th season, is now back on board.

Fox announced Tuesday that it had signed all the show's main cast members — Shearer included.

"FOX is proud to confirm that each and every member of the iconic series' voice cast will be returning in the roles they've brought to life since the show's beginnings as a series of animated shorts nearly 30 years ago," the network said.
