MINNEAPOLIS, July 29, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- BioSig Technologies (OTCQB:BSGM), a medical device company developing PURE EP(TM), a proprietary technology platform designed to improve the fidelity of clinical signals available for electrophysiology (EP) procedures, today announced it has signed a Sponsored Research Agreement with The Regents of The University of California at Los Angeles ("UCLA") to conduct preclinical evaluation of BioSig's PURE EP(TM) System in a ventricular tachycardia (VT) model.
Dr. Jason Bradfield, Director of the specialized program for cardiovascular technology innovation of the UCLA Cardiac Arrhythmia Center will be the Principal Investigator; the studies will focus on intracardiac and percutaneous epicardial mapping utilizing the PURE EP information system to explore the complex scar architecture that typically supports multiple morphologies of VT.
