Hate long lines? Google is here to help

Google has added a new feature for the time pressed, a gauge of the busiest times at businesses and places.

Google said Tuesday its search feature will show peak traffic times by hour and will be available for millions of places and businesses.

The new feature could be a game changer for those wanting to avoid peak grocery shopping hours or dining times.

For example, a search for the Shake Shack's Madison Square location in New York reveals the company's traffic peaks around 7 p.m. Those who want to beat the traffic are better off stopping for lunch or an afternoon snack rather than dinner.

"Enjoy your extra time!" writes Google in a post.
